A common boundary feature in Aberdeenshire roadside walls. No copestones! Sometimes with a beech hedge on top of stone faced bank.
This particular section of drystone wall has been repaired following a vehicle collision. All of the stone from the original wall was reclaimed and repurposed. The only additional material required to bring in was some hearting / packing in the core of the wall.
The repair was 2.5 metres squared of stonework, stripped out, stone graded and re-laid in a single day.
