Granite dry stone corner on elevated / rough terrain

On arrival very little of the wall corner was in tact. The corner was dug out to below ground level, so that we see the condition of the original foundations.


You can see from the image below what we were working with.

Tight for space, but once the prep and setup was just right, we were placing granite back in tying in to the rest of the newly formed wall.


It would likely have been quicker / easier to form a curve for the corner, but I could see we had the right stone type to achieve a satisfying corner and we completed it in a couple of days.


This space was originally for agricultural use. Has since been purchased and forms part of an industrial unit in Westhill, Aberdeenshire.
